This year, the International Competition consisted of 15 movies out of which three were by Indian filmmakers. Under Festival Kaleidoscope section, IFFI showcased 12 movies chosen from various parts of the world. World Panorama section had 48 films, which included 21 Asia Premieres, 16 India Premieres, eight World Premieres and three International Premieres. Under Debut Film Competition, IFFI showcased seven films including two Indian films. Ten renowned films including two Indian movies competed for the ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal.
IFFI 51 honoured Italian cinematographer Vittorio Storaro with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The legendary cinematographer said he owes the incredible visual journey he had, to his colleagues and great directors like Bernardo Bertolucci, Francis Coppola, Carlos Oliveira and Woody Allen.
The 14th Edition of NFDC Film Bazaar was held in a hybrid format, was also virtually launched this time.

Mumbai, Feb 28(UNI) Maharashtra state Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has announced that college students will be able to appear for exams both online and offline in the wake of rising rates of corona virus infection in the state.
While clarifying it on Saturday, Mr Samant said that the students who take the exam offline will be able to take the exam by following all the rules regarding coronavirus infection.
