"The Leader of Opposition is representing his Constituency for consecutive 26 years. He has earned respect and goodwill not only amongst his voters but the entire Goa looks at him with high respect. The people of Goa have openly expressed their feelings that Digambar Kamat is the only leader who can take everyone together and has proved it by heading a coalition government and completing full term of five years in office. His people friendly policies and schemes are still remembered by the Common man in Goa," Mr Bhike said.
The recent outburst of the AAP regarding a statement made by Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat was out of frustration, he said, adding the BJP had always tried to take help of divisive groups like AAP to counter direct attack by the opposition on their misrule and insensitive governance said Joseph Dias.
He expressed surprise over act of the so called AAP leaders to raise questions on an interview of Digambar Kamat, rather than attacking and questioning the BJP on the core issues like Covid pandemic, Economic slowdown and sufferings of the common man, Mr Dias said.
