Were Bluestar and 84 massacre your tributes to Sikh Gurus, Sukhbir asks Priyanka

Bathinda, May 14 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal said here on Tuesday that as grand daughter of Indira Gandhi who rolled tanks into Harmandar Sahib, demolished Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and desecrated hundreds of sacred saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, Priyanka Gandhi's "hypocritical drama on sacrilege was like devil citing scriptures for his purpose. "
" Tomorrow, Amarinder might as well invite the descendants of Ahmad Shah Abdali to shed tears on the demolition of Akal Takhat sahib or desecration of our only scriptures. There is no end to how far the Congress, Amarinder and the Gandhi family can go in adding insult to Sikh injury," said the Akali chief.
Talking about Priyanka Gandhi's "insane outbursts, Sukhbir Singh Badal said,"Priyanka arrogantly misquoted our beloved poet to say that Punjab is neither Hindu nor Musslmaan: Punjab breathes and lives on the sacred name of the great Gurus. But she did not tell us why Indira Gandhi chose the anniversary of one of the great Guru Sahibaan, Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaj's martyrdom to launch a bloody army assault on Harmandar Sahib in 1984 brutally killing thousands of innocent devotees and destroying the highest seat of religio-political authority of the Khalsa Panth. Was that Indira's tribute to the Guru's sacred name?"asked Sukhbir.
Mr Badal advised the scions of Nehru family to refrain from stirring old wounds. "But if she was really so sensitive to Sikh sentiments, then the minimum she could have done before shedding crocodile tears on Sikh wounds was to offer an unconditional apology for Operation Blue star and the inhuman massacre of thousands of Sikhs at the behest of Priyanka's father, Rajiv Gandhi. But she pretended as if these tragedies had simply not happened. There was not even a reference to these tragedies forget about an apology. This is how sincere her "pious sentiments" were her words about the Sikhs," said Sukhbir Badal.
Mr Badal also lashed out against Amarinder's decision to invite Rahul Gandhi to Bargadi and said ,"Rahul's proposed visit has finally exposed who had engineered, patronised and financed the fake Morcha by the so-called Panthic leaders. The cat is now out of the bag on Congress patronage to the so called Morcha. What a brain wave ! The perpetrators of Operation Blue Star and Sikh massacre have been invited by Amarinder to safeguard the sanctity of the Sikhs holiest scripture," said Sukhbir.
The SAD chief said, "this is not the first time that traitors of the Khalsa Panth have joined hands with the forces inimical to the Sikhs to defame and defeat the community. Now they have invited the grandson and grand daughter of Indira Gandhi who rolled tanks and mortars to destroy Sri Akal Takhat Sahib. They might as well have invited the descendants of Ahmad Shah Abdali. "
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that it was evident from the start that there was a huge conspiracy behind acts of sacrilege during the SAD BJP government. Now we know who sponsored and patronised the conspiracy.
