Ambassa (Tripura), Sep 18 (UNI) The term 'village' erupts a traditional stereotype of lush greenery, flowing rivulets, thatched houses, women fetching water from local sources, diseases, unemployment, agrarian activities and lazy motion of life.
And in the case of Tripura, the shabby picture seems gloomy enough for the acute shortage of basic amenities. But, in a slow but steady pace, the thriving rant of accelerating vibrancy can well be heard of villages accumulating enough courage to boost up a new living. And in this journey, different welfare schemes, as well as Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana(PMAGY), are paving the way to success. And all these as a whole fillip the fledgeling development in rural Tripura.
The block authority and the villagers express their joviality over the happy state of affairs. The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Durgachowmuhani block in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in northern Tripura district of Dhalai identified as Rameswar Chakraborty expresses, "We have chosen seven scheduled caste dominated villages under PMAGY for ushering around socio-economic development by the convergence of both Central and State projects. The work of development is already at pace. And the PMAYG would boost up the pace further".
