Webinar held on the World AIDS Day conducted Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 1 (UNI) On the occasion of world AIDS Day a webinar organised by the Department of Community Medicine Government MedicalCollege Srinagar during which presentation on mechanism of HIV transmission and its effects on various immunity cells in the body was discussed.
Senior resident Department of Immunology Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS) Dr Imtiyaz Rasool gave extensive power point presentation on mechanism of HIV transmission and it's effects on various immunity cells in the body.
He discussed mechanism of antiretroviral therapy including HAART and therapeutic vaccines and future directions.
