Pune, Sep 26 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been active over Konkan and Goa. It has been subdued over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at many places in Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Himachal Pradesh.
