Weather condition favourable for withdrawal of SW Monsoon

Pune, Sep 20 (UNI) Conditions are becoming favourable for withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from parts of west Rajasthan and Kachchh around September 23.
The Southwest Monsoon has been subdued over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, north interior Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, and Kerala.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.
