New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said Delhi needs to be prepared for the crop burning season that begins in October, and asked Delhiites to send suggestions on how they can prepare for smog.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Kejriwal said, 'I am so happy that Delhi's air pollution levels have reduced by 25 per cent in the last three years, as per CPCB data. Delhi is the only city where air pollution is on the decline, instead of increasing. Delhi govt, Centre and the people of Delhi have achieved this together!'
'While this is a remarkable success, much more needs to be done. We need to be prepared for the crop burning season that begins in October. I invite the citizens of Delhi to send in their suggestions on how we can prepare ourselves for the smog, on [email protected],' the CM tweeted.
