We don't want anyone else to face what Sarabjit suffered: Randeep Hooda

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Making a serious pitch for Indian and Pakistan Governments resolving the various issues between the two countries, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda today said his latest film 'Sarbjit', the story of an Indian farmer who accidentally crossed the India-Pakistan border and was caught by Pakistan authorities and spent several years in jail, seeks to highlight this issue.
Addressing a press conference for 'Sarbjit' here this afternoon, Randeep, who was accompanied by the cast and crew of the film- former Miss world Aishwarya Rai Bahchcan, Richa Chaddha and director Omung Kuma, said,''More people have died in the partition than in the World War II. Sarabjit did not suffered torture as much due to the blames put on him, rather he suffered more because he was an Indian. Our movie shows this clearly.
If Indians are also doing the same with Pakistani prisoners then it is wrong. We have to solve this problem. Both the governments should shake hands and release the innocents who are suffering. The movie will be doing a revolutionary work solving this serious issue.''
