WC member Shahida Kamal attacked

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 10 (UNI) State Women's Commission member Shahida Kamal was manhandled by a group of protesters during the dawn-to-dusk hartal called in Kerala as part of the nation-wide agitation against the fuel price hike.
A group of protesters, allegedly Congress workers, waylaid the official car of Kerala Women's Commission and tried to manhandle her and grabbed her hair, Ms Shahida Kamal said.
The agitators, who allowed other vehicles to pass through with out hindrance, waylaid her car and even tried to break the glass of the vehicle, she alleged.
