WB transport minister Suvendu Adikhari deposes before CBI to record his voice for Narada scam investigation

Kolkata, Sep 20 (UNI) The CBI probing the Narada sting operations scam today recorded the voice samples of West Bengal transport minister and TMC leader Suvendu Adikhari at Nizam Palace in the city.
The senior TMC leader arrived around 4 pm following a summon and had his voice recorded as the CBI wanted to match his voice with the tapes recorded by Narada News CEO Mathew Samuel, who did the sting operations during 2013.
Last week Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, BJP leader Sovan Chatterjee and TMC MP Aparura Poddar had appeared at Nizam Palace for same purpose.
The CBI, so far, has taken the voice samples of nine accused persons out of total 13 people named in the FIR in Narada News sting operations, which came to light in 2016.
