WB's panchayet elections related hearings ended, HC to pronounce verdict on Friday

Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) The hearings on West Bengal's Panchayet elections, which had been stayed by a Calcutta High Court order, ended today and a verdict is expected to be pronounced at 1630 hours on Friday, HC sources said.
Justice Subrata Talukdar, who stayed all poll process until Friday (April 20), said today that with the end of hearings a verdict is expected by 1630 hours on Friday.
The state election commission in a notification on April 9 had extended a day for filing of nomination papers following a Supreme Court directive saying everyone should get opportunity to file
