New Delhi, Sep 19 (UNI) Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday told the Lok Sabha that no information has been received from the West Bengal government regarding the returnee migrant workers, so no district of the state could join the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan.
The Union Minister said this in response to the matter, which was raised by Congress Floor Leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, during the Zero Hour in the House.
She said that 116 districts of six states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh were included under the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan.
