Bidhannagar Police arrested Mr Mazumdar yesterday on charges of fraudulent practices after several hours of interrogation. Moving bail plea, the defence lawyer contended though the tenor of the FIR was that no case had been filed in the Supreme Court, a case was moved on the matter in the apex judiciary.
