Waste Management: Training for Panchayat secretaries on technical, legal aspects concludes

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 26 (UNI) The training programme series for panchayat secretaries in the state conducted to impart a comprehensive understanding of the legal and technical aspects of waste management as part of the ‘Malinya Muktham Nava Keralam’ campaign concluded here on Tuesday.
Organized by the Local Self Government Department (LSGD) in association with Kerala Institute for Local Administration (KILA), the module of the training programme had two-day sessions each for three batches of officials, who lead the campaign in panchayats.
Panchayat secretaries from Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad and Malappuram districts attended the final lap of the training programme.
