War against COVID-19: MP CM briefs his officers

Bhopal, July 3 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday directed district collectors to ensure participation of other departments in the Kill Corona Campaign underway across the state.

The instruction was issued while the veteran leader was reviewing the situation via videoconferencing in the presence of Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and Director General of Police Vivek Johri.

As many as 10,664 survey teams are operational under the crusade that commenced on Wednesday. A total 1.23 crore of the population has already been covered under the survey that detected 11,087 suspected cases with symptoms associated with this specific pathogen besides sufferers of other maladies. Treatment is underway. Madhya Pradesh – with a recovery rate of 77.3 per cent – ranks second among the states.
