War against COVID-19: Active cases lessen in MP

Bhopal, Aug 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan underlined on Thursday that the state is down to 16th position in the ‘red list’ of the country’s active novel coronavirus cases.
“The number of such patients is 8,716. Initially, this figure was seamlessly declining but during the past few days it spurted rapidly across the nation and we were no exception. Now, compared to fresh sufferers, more are recuperating. On this very day, 838 recovered and 830 new instances were detected. Our recovery rate has attained 73.6 per cent. The Health Department should issue detailed guidelines for residential isolation of asymptomatic individuals and home quarantine of suspected victims so that those who have adequate space within their dwellings plus prefer being there can be helped,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying.
