VVPAT: Oppn parties file review petition in SC

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) A review petition was filed on Wednesday by 20 Opposition parties in the Supreme Court seeking a direction to the Election Commission of India to verify 50 % of the Electronic Voting Machines using Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail.
Their initial petition was disposed off after allowing an increase of paper trail verification from one EVM to five in each assembly segment.
On April 8, a Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi-led bench, passed the order and directed increase
