Hyderabad, Jan 18 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday said that the silence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), NRC and NPR in Telangana was puzzling and sending wrong signals.
Mr Reddy said that people, mainly the minorities, should vote against TRS in municipal elections to ensure that KCR takes a firm stand against the controversial CAA and NRC by passing a resolution in Telangana Assembly saying they would not be implemented here.
Addressing a series of meetings in Huzurnagar as part of municipal elections campaign, Mr Reddy further said despite repeated reminders from Telangana Congress Party, why KCR was hesitating to call for special session of assembly to pass a resolution against CAA.
