Vodafone launches SuperNet 4G services in Punjab

Chandigarh, Jan 16 (UNI) Vodafone, a leading telecommunication services provider in the country, today launched its Vodafone SuperNet 4G services in Punjab with an assurance to its present and prospective customers of real time experience of high speed data downloading.
Making an announcement of the launch of SuperNet 4G services, Vodafone India Operations Director Arvind Vohra said with this the company has launched it 4G services in all the 17 circles in the country and will cover over 2400 towns and cities by March 2017. Starting with Chandigarh and Mohali in Punjab, the services would be rolled out across all major towns and cities of the state by March 2017, he added.
"Out of the total investment of over Rs 2,250 crore made by the company in the state nearly Rs 1100-crore were invested between April 2016 to December 2016 on upgrading the infrastructure and preparedness for launching 4G services. The company has invested Rs 10,090-crore, the largest investor among the telecom operators, on fixed broadband and mobile telecommunication services in the country," Vohra said. Announcing attractions to the customers in the state, he said the company will offer free 4G sim with 2GB data free with every upgrade besides, two hour free 4G services daily for 30 days to all prepaid customers having 4GLTE handsets and three month access to free TV, movies and videos on Vodafone Play apps, he claimed.
