VIT’s campus recruitment enters Limca Book of Records for 8th time

Chennai, Feb 24(UNI) Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) campus recruitment has again entered the Limca Book of Records for 8th time.
A VIT press release here on Sunday said that Wipro Technologies (Wipro Turbo) made job offers to 139 students with a CTC (cost to company) of Rs. Six lakhs per annum from the 2018 graduating batch of VIT during the campus recruitment drive held at the VIT campus here from August 27 to 29, 2017.
This is the highest number of offers given by the company to the students from a single institution, and has found a place in the Limca Book of Records in its 2019 edition.
