Haveri, Oct 23 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday invited Congress leader Siddaramaiah to pay a visit to Hanagal constituency to see for himself development works done by the BJP government before inviting him for a debate on a public platform.
"There is no other bigger place for debating than the assembly. We have exposed the Congress there. Let us continue to have debate, but before that Siddaramaiah should visit the constituency and see for himself what kind of development work the government has done. It is inappropriate for him to throw a challenge just to appease his supporters," he told reporters here.
The former state CM Siddaramaiah had thrown a challenge to Bommai for holding a public debate on funds allocated for development of Hanagal during his tenure as chief minister.
