Vishnu Vardhan among 19 direct entries in Jasssowal ITF Futures

Chandigarh, May 1 (UNI) Winner of the Chandigarh leg Vishun Vardhan of India, who is having 441th ATP ranking, is among the 19 players, who got direct entry into the main draw on the basis of their ranking, in the 10,000 dollars ITF Futures Men’s Tennis Tournament at the Harvest Tennis Academy at Jassowal (Ludhiana). The main draw will begin tomorrow while the two-day qualifying matches are in progress.
With a ranking of 518th Indonesian Christopher Rungkat is the second highest ranked player in the field while N Vijay Sundar Prashanth of India is the third highest ranked player (542) among those who got direct entry.
Players from 12 countries are participating in these tournaments. Countries being represented are Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Turkmenistan, Singapore, Portugal, Thailand, Switzerland, Unites States of America, Great Britain and India.
