Villager booked for rape

Nakodar, Aug 21 (UNI) The Nakodar sadar police on Saturday booked a villager on the charges of raping a girl.
Investigating Officer (IO) and women cell in-charge Bhupindar Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Jaskaran Singh of Tutt Kalan village.
The victim complained to the police that the accused established physical relations with her three years ago on the promise of marriage but subsequently declined to marry her.
