Kanpur, Jul 10 (UNI) The parents of the gangster Vikas Dubey have disowned their son and refused to attend the cremation saying they do not have any relations with him.
The ailing father of the most wanted gangster, who was killed in an encounter with STF on Friday morning, has justified the police action and praised chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
He also announced that he will not attend the cremation of his son.
Talking to media persons in Kanpur bed-ridden Ram Kumar Dubey, 75, said that the police action on his son was justified. "Vikas had committed a heinous crime and he should meet such fate," he said.
The father said that he had tried his best to stop him from indulging in criminal act but he entered politics which gave protection to his criminal activities.
Blaming Vikas for the misery of his family, Ram Kumar, said, he was never good to me nor he obeyed me. Due to him my house got demolished. I am facing all the miseries due to his criminal act and his encounter was the right thing to be done," he said.
The day Vikas and his henchmen ambushed eight policemen at Bikaru village on July 2 night, his father was present there.
