Speaking to reporters after opening a party office in Santa Cruz Assembly constituency near the city, he said “Changing person’s mindset is very important. We had opposed Mopa during that time as the major issue was that the new airport would be disconnecting north and south districts of the State.” Mr Sardesai, who holds Town and Country Planning and Agriculture portfolio in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government, said his opposition to the project in the past was due lack of connectivity in South Goa to the new airport which is in North Goa.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Vijay Sardessai supports Mopa airport project
