Vigilance nabs former HPSSSB chairman S M Katwal from Una

Hamirpur (HP), Sep 11 (UNI) Hamirpur Special Judge sent HP State Subordinate Services Selection Board (HPSSSB) former chairman Surendra Mohan Katwal to jail following his arrest by the sleuths of the Vigilance Bureau from Una on Tuesday.
Katwal is likely to be sent to Kanda jail in Shimla tomorrow.
Katwal, a former IAS officer, was declared proclaimed offender by the court following his disappearance from the state even after he was asked by various courts to surrender during last two years. He was given five chances to surrender but he failed to comply with those and finally was taken into custody from Una following a tip-off.
