Vigilance caught Food and Civil Supplies inspector

Gurdaspur, Feb 21 (UNI) An inspector of food and civil supplies department was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,300 from depot holder by vigilance bureau here today.
A vigilance team led by DSP Rajinder Singh got a complaint from a depot holder Kulwinder Singh that he had been a lot of 169 bags of wheat for December and January quota from the Food and civil supplies department and concerned inspector Rajinder Pal was demanding Rs 2,300 as commission from him, Inspector allegedly locked his shop when he was not able to pay his commission.
On getting his complaint, a vigilance bureau team led by Rajinder Singh caught inspector while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,300.
