Vigilance arrest a senior clerk for taking bribe from a patient

Kendrapada, Feb 24 (UNI) The sleuths of the Vigilance department today arrested a senior clerk of the Mahakalpada Tehsil for taking bribe from a patient for depositing the assistance given to him from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in his (patient) bank account.
Chandrasekhar Hansda, the accused was arrested while taking a bribe of Rs 1;000 in the bank account of one Dilip Kumar Patnaik for depositing Rs 35000 in the accounts of Mr Patnaik sanctioned from Chief Minister ‘s Relief Fund for his treatment.
Dillip Kumar Patnaik recently underwent operation for the treatment of brain tumour.
