Victorious BJP MLAs met Chief minister Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, Dec 11 (UNI) The newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs, including Ramesh Jarakiholi, Bhyrathi Basavaraj, S T Somashekhar and Anand Singh met chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Wednesday and thanked him for his efforts in ensuring their victories in the recently concluded byelections held to the 15 Assembly seats.
Speaking to newsmen the former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi, who was the architect of the fall of the previous JD(S)-Congress coalition government, said that "It was only a courtesy call and thanked Chief minister".
The meeting of the victorious BJP MLAs, assumes importance, as they had met separately and decided to mount pressure on the Chief minister B S Yediyurappa to induct them into the cabinet and allocate plum portfolios.
