Panaji, Sep 27 (UNI) Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Goa on Thursday by a special aircraft from Ranchi Airport.
On his arrival at Dabolim Airport, the Vice President was received by Governor Mridula Sinha, Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Pramod Sawant, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, Chief Secretary, Government of Goa, Dharmendra Sharma, Director General of Police, Dr Muktesh Chander, FOGA, Rear Admiral Philiose G Pynumootil, Secretary Protocol W V Ramanmurthy and Collector South Dr Tariq Thomas.
During his visit, the Vice President will plant a sapling at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, at 0930 hrs on September 28, 2018, and thereafter, he will attend the convocation ceremony of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Goa, at Kala Academy, in the capital city at 1000 hrs. After the function, the Vice President will proceed to the residence of MRK Prasad, Goa. He will depart from residence of MRK Prasad, Goa, at 1440 hrs on September 28, 2018.
