Vessel attacked in Gulf of Aden

Sanaa, July 19 (UNI) A ship has been attacked with projectiles in the Gulf of Aden, with no casualties reported, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), part of the UK Royal Navy, said on Friday.
"UKMTO has received a report of an incident 083NM [nautical miles] southeast of Aden, Yemen. Update 001: The Master reports that the vessel has been hit by unknown projectiles, all crew reported safe. Authorities are investigating. Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO," the statement said.
Yemen's Houthi movement, which controls most of the Yemeni Red Sea coast, said in October it would attack any ships associated with Israel, in a show of support for Palestine. The movement said it did not want to interfere with freedom of navigation in the region and would not target ships of other countries. Some shipping companies rerouted their vessels to avoid the Red Sea.
