Very rough sea likely over parts of Arabian Sea; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Dec 9 (UNI) Sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough over westcentral and adjoining southwest Arabian Sea during next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department said here on Monday.
Squally weather with wind speeds 55-65 kmph gusting to 75 kmph was very likely over the same region.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
Night temperatures were above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala as well as in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, north interior Karnataka as well as in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal and east Madhya Pradesh.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh and Saurashtra and Kutch.

Dense fog very likely at isolated places over Odisha.

Moderate to dense fog observed in isolated pockets over Jammu and Kashmir whereas moderate fog observed in isolated pockets over Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh.

At 0830 hrs Monday, visibility of 50 meter was recorded in Srinagar whereas Kupwara, Ludhiana and Allahabad recorded visibility of 200 meter.

The northeast monsoon has subdued over coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.
Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka, and Kerala.
