Pune, Jan 25 (UNI) Dense to very dense fog in some pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and east Uttar Pradesh; at isolated pockets over north Rajasthan, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; Dense fog in some pockets with very dense fog at isolated pockets over Bihar; dense fog at isolated pockets over plains of Uttarkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Cold day to severe cold day conditions at isolated pockets very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh; Cold day conditions at isolated pockets over Bihar. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions in some pockets over Punjab; at isolated pockets over Rajasthan; Cold wave conditions at isolated pockets very likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch during next 24 hours.
Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Odisha; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal and Chhattisgarh; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over north interior Karnataka; at many places over east Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Lakshadweep; at a few places over east Madhya Pradesh and Telangana; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
