New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Vice President M.Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday led by example by going in the queue meant for the common pilgrims for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
During his visit to the famed Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD), Mr Naidu set aside his protocol entitlements and went by the queue in ‘Vaikuntham Queue Complex’ by which about 50,000 common devotees make darshan of Lord Balaji atop Tirumala hills everyday.
As Vice President, Mr Naidu is entitled to darshan of Lord Balaji in the sanctum sanctorum by walking through the temple’s main entrance, the ‘Mahadwaram’, but he preferred to do so like a commoner.
