Varun Dhawan shares throwback from Citadel: Honey Bunny shoot

New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Varun Dhawan is preparing for the release of his Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny on November 7. The actor recently shared a throwback picture from the show's Serbia schedule on Instagram, featuring his wife Natasha Dalal. In the photo, the couple is seen enjoying a lunch date against a picturesque backdrop as they pose for a selfie.
The background audio of the post features Dhawan's latest song Khoobsurat from Stree 2, where he stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Dhawan captioned the image, “My constant #khoobsurati (red heart emoji) in my life #tbt filming in Serbia for #honeybunny getting bruised was pretty normal on that set.”
Comments on the post varied, with actor Saqib Saleem remarking, “Ek post se saari cheezien plug-in.. marketing genius.” Another user commented, “Haha did reel Honey know that Boney dated the ‘Real Honey’ in the set of #honeybunny.” A further comment read, “The caption and you guys (red heart, heart eyes, and Nazar emoji) @varundvn Made my day even more Khoobsurat.”
Citadel: Honey Bunny is the Indian spin-off of the Russo Brothers’ hit series Citadel, adapted for Amazon Prime Video by Raj & DK. The series also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, and Emma Canning. It is set to premiere on November 7, 2024.
In addition, Stree 2 is set for a major box-office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. The horror-comedy also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. It is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024.
On the personal front, Dhawan married his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal on January 24, 2021. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on June 3, 2024.
