Vajra corps organizes mini marathon

Jalandhar, Jan 24 (UNI) A mini Marathon was organised by Vajra Corps on Sunday at Jalandhar Cantonment with the aim to promote national integration, peace and harmony as part of 73rd Army Day and Republic Day 2021 celebrations under the theme of Swarnim Vijay Varsh 2021.
A large number of serving Army personnel and their families participated in the event. Similar events were also held at Ferozepur, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Beas Military Stations.
The major highlight of the event was the enthusiasm and patriotic fervor displayed by one and all. The incorporation of the ‘GREEN INDIA INITIATIVE’ in which organic plants were presented to the participants was also a hallmark of the event.
