Uttarakhand HC seeks state govt, CBI answer for granting prosecution sanction against former Corbett director

Dehradun, Oct 11 (UNI) The Uttarakhand High Court has sought answer from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the state government for allowing prosecution of former Director of the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) Rahul in illegal felling of tress and building constructions inside reserve forest area.
The CBI is investigating the matter that belongs to the Pakhro Range of the CTR being head by the Supreme Court of India.
The order was issued by the single bench of the high court Justice Ashish Naithani during the hearing on October 11. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for October 28.
