UTF demands Teachers appointment in Govt schools in proportionate to students

Kakinada, Jan 29 (UNI) The leaders of AP United Teachers Federation (UTF) have demanded the government to improve the education sector by reducing mental tension and pressures on teachers and take steps to appoint teachers in the government schools in proportionate to the increased number of students. Prasadarao told media persons at the UTF office here on Sunday that the financial arrears due to the employees and teachers such as surrender leaves, Das, APGLA were mounting and they were not in a position to utilize the money they saved .
They blamed the Chief Minister for going back on his promise on scrapping the contributory pension system (CPS) contrary to other states where they reintroduced the age old pension system keeping in view the employees welfare . `
