UT reeling under severe financial crisis: Viswanathan

Puducherry, Jan 23 (UNI) Communist Party of India state secretary R Viswanathan today said the Union Territory is reeling under a severe financial crisis.
Talking to the mediapersons here, Mr Viswanathan said the crisis in the union territory is so severe that even the salary for Anganwadi workers could not be disbursed. Mr Viswanathan urged the Centre to take proper measures and bring the situation back on track.
The Government should strive to get 10-15 percent enhancement on annual allocation every year, which the UT failed to get for the last few years.
