Moscow, October 23 UNI US National Security Adviser John Bolton arrived on Monday night at the Russian Foreign Ministry in central Moscow for an official meeting with
Russian top diplomat Sergey Lavrov.
The upcoming meeting between the high-ranking US security official and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov would be held between the closed doors, according to a TASS.
Before arriving for a meeting with the Russian top diplomat, US National Security Advisor Bolton held almost a five-hour meeting with Secretary of the Russian Security Council

Bolton began his two-day working visit to Moscow on Monday. His visit is seen as a continuation of dialogue in the Bolton-Patrushev format. Their first meeting took place in
Geneva on August 23 and yielded positive results as the sides agreed to resume contacts between the two countries’ defense and foreign policy officials and the top brass.
The program of Bolton’s official visit to in Moscow also includes talks with officials from the Russian Foreign Ministry as well as a meeting with Russian president’s foreign policy
aide, Yury Ushakov.
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced earlier that Bolton’s meeting with President Vladimir Putin was also a possibility, the agency said.
Peskov stated that the Kremlin expects Bolton to provide explanations to US President Donald Trump’s statement regarding the United States withdrawal from the Intermediate-
Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty).
