Islamabad, Oct 21 (UNI) The Biden administration has named career diplomat Donald Armin Blome as the US' new ambassador to Pakistan, filling a key post that was lying vacant for the past over three years.
The appointment of Blome, currently serving as the US ambassador to Tunisia, comes days after US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman visited Pakistan.
This will be the first time since August 2018, when David Hale completed his three-year stint, that the US will have a full-time ambassador in Islamabad.
