Sanaa, July 12 (UNI) U.S. forces destroyed five Houthi uncrewed surface vessels in the Red Sea late Thursday.
According to U.S. Central Command, the forces also destroyed two Houthi uncrewed aerial systems over the Red Sea and one system in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen.
"It was determined these systems presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region. These actions were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters more safe and secure," it said in a statement.
