US House to table vote for approving funding bill on Nov 12 to end 42-day shutdown

Washington, Nov 11 (UNI) The US Senate approved a long-awaited funding package to end the ongoing government shutdown, now entering its 42nd day making it the longest in the country's history.
This brings the Congress a step closer to resolving the political crisis that has paralysed Washington's federal services, damaged the economy, and virtually suspended most of its aviation sector, causing disruptions for millions throughout the country.
The bill will now move to the House of Representatives for a final vote, expected as early as Wednesday, November 12.

Washington, Dec 12 (UNI) The White House on Thursday said President Donald Trump is "extremely frustrated" with Russia and Ukraine over the slow progress toward ending the four-year-old war, accusing both sides of holding meetings “for the sake of meeting.”
"The President is extremely frustrated with both sides of this war," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters. "He doesn't want any more talk. He wants action. He wants this war to come to an end."
"He's sick of meetings just for the sake of meeting," she added.
