US FDA suspends order banning Juul E-cigarettes

Washington, July 6 (UNI/Sputnik) The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended its order directing global vaping market leader Juul Labs Inc to remove its electronic cigarettes from the market.
"On July 5, 2022, FDA administratively stayed the marketing denial order. The agency has determined that there are scientific issues unique to the JUUL application that warrant additional review," FDA Tobacco said in a statement.
The stay and the agency’s review does not constitute authorization to market, sell, or ship Juul products, it explained.
