US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth raises Iran war cost to $29bn; experts note war time cost could cost taxpayers $1tn

Washington, May 13 (UNI) US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has further raised the estimated cost of the ongoing Iran war from an initial
25 billion to over
29 billion, warning that the overall financial burden on the US may eventually force prices to rise far higher as the conflict drags on without any resolution in sight.
