New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The star cast of 'Uri', a movie about 2016 surgical strike conducted by Indian Army in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), was centre of attraction at Army Day reception here on Tuesday.
Bollywood actors Yami Gautam, Vicky Kaushal and Kirti Kulhari were among those present at the reception hosted by Indian Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat at his official residence on the occasion of 71st Army Day.
A number of media persons as well as army officials were seen clicking pictures with them.
Members of star cast were seen mingling with army officials, media persons and other dignitaries, including National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Gen Rawat.
“I am excited to be here. It’s a great moment for us to interact with serving personnel and veterans,” said actor Vicky kaushal.
He said that he would love to do more films on the Army.
'Uri-The surgical strikes' , directed by Aditya Dhar, hit the cinema screens on January 11.
Sushant Singh Rajput, another popular bollywood star though not part of Uri star cast was also present.
Sushant features in a movie based on 1962 war hero Jaswant Singh Rawat which is scheduled to be released shortly.
