URE affecting vision disability in country

Lucknow, Jul 13(UNI)Uncorrected Refractive Error(URE), the most widely prevalent unaddressed disability, is affecting the world and particularly India where almost 50 per cent of the population are suffering from this vision impairedness.
In India, of the total population, 65 crores are URE of which around 17 crore have been cured by putting glasses or other method, but still around 55 crores, around half of the country's population was still affected with vision related problems.
According to vision impact institute in the world around 250 crore people are affected with the problem for which efforts have been started to aware the people about the vision problem which is affecting the normal day to day life of the people.
