UP youths forced to pelt stones on security personnel in Kashmir

Lucknow, June 22 (UNI) Around 72 hours after Jammu and Kashmir was put under Governor’s rule, shocking facts have come out as six youths from Uttar Pradesh, who had gone to Kashmir to earn their living, claimed that they were made to pelt stones at security forces, Director General of Police O P Singh confirmed on Friday.
The youths, including three each from Baghpat and Saharnpur districts were working in Pulwama as tailors and were getting Rs 20,000, when they were pushed to unskilled works such as mopping and washing vehicles.
"During encounter of security forces with militants the locals used to ask us to pelt stones at security forces. As we were taking shelter in houses of locals we obeyed their orders,” the youth told the police.
