UP to get 36 new police stations

Lucknow, Dec 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Home Department has asked the office of the director general of police to finalise the area where 36 new police stations in 23 districts and 13 police outposts will be created in addition to the existing ones.
On the directions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the department also sent the names of the Assembly Constituencies or the areas where new police set-up would come soon. The DGP office will now seek a report from the respective districts and forward the proposal to the state government for final announcement. Sources said that three of the new police stations will come up in Ghaziabad, which included Loni, Sahibabad, and Moradnagar Assembly constituencies.
In Lucknow, Sarojninagar and Bakshi Ka Talab Assembly areas will have new police stations. Similarly, Noida City and Dadri Assembly constituency will have one new police stations each in Gautambudh Nagar.
